Entropay Anonymous

• Entropay was founded in 2003 with the vision to give anyone the ability to make payments online. According to their official website, Entropay is leading the fintech sector in making online payments faster and mores seamless for all regardless of location and credit-worthiness.
• Entropay does not accept the account from anonymous people. Instead, it allows one to create anonymous virtual cards, which can be used for payment on any country. One is required to have an ID to register an account on Entropay. Using the Virtual cards, Entropay can allow anonymity on an account and let you hide personal and bank details.

Can't say much bad against Entropay as well. Just a bit annoying that their cc's are being issued in UK and if you're in another country (like me), some providers won't let you pay or you need an UK vpn (like bestukvpn.com) and an account with UK data in it.

Entropy[edit]

You know, I thought 'entropy' was something else entirely. Not even a link to the general concept of entropy? You do realize, Wikipedians, that eventually this 'encyclopedia' will be completely subsumed by brand names?

I totally agree. In fact, those two articles really refer to the same thing.

Finally, we are at least two that thought entropy was something totally different ;-) Being a physicist now working as an IT Admin, I thought I was about to read an article about the thermodynamics of data on the Internet... What a disapointment hehehe

POV[edit]

The 'Why not Freenet?' section is completely POV. I don't know enough about Entropy to fix it, but someone should.

Decent machine[edit]

This not a good term to use in any computer related document. What is a decent machine to the writer may not be a decent machine to the reader. The 'decent machine' at time of writing may become a very out dated machine only a few months later. My definition of a 'decent machine' is one that is <800mhz, but in some circles (such as gaming), a 'decent machine' may need to be in excess of 3ghz. Someone needs to find and fix this. Merge with main Entropy article[edit]

I oppose this as the subjects have very little to do with each other. Articles should only be merged if they share the subject. This is more like just a fancy brand name than anything else. -- Northgrove 20:53, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I also oppose merging this with main Entropy article. Would be pointless to merge this with another article just because they share the same fucking name.

Deletion (dated prod), Entropy/RSA and entropy-rsa-ng[edit]

There's a project, called 'Entropy/RSA' (of the same author, as I understood), using RSA instead of McEliece cryptosystem. The last version is 0.9.1-439, dated 2005-10-06 which means that it's development has stopped long time ago, and the project is dead. However, it is still being used at least a bit, and a working entropy_rsa package is included at least in Gentooportage. Also, I've found 'entropy-rsa-ng' project which seems to be alive (last updated 2007-09-28). As there are not so many anonymous P2P file sharing systems, I'd suggest keeping the article and updating it. Unfortunately I don't have neither enough time nor knowledge on the subject (I've just looked for info on different anonymous P2P and darknets and today I see Entropy/RSA for a first time) nor proper English skills to do it myself. I'm removing 'dated prod' template as it suggests me to do ('remove ... if ... object to its deletion for any reason'), however, if my reasoning is not enough or is otherwise wrong, please return it back. —213.148.171.34 18:58, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use.
